Radiation-induced lung injury (RILI)

A distinctive form of lung injury or damage which typically dominates in the radiation beam but may, at times, extend outside the radiation beam. Novel SBRT techniques tend to produce round-shaped densities that need be separated from cancer relapse or progression.
